Cleaners, conditioners and protectants all have a different job and are formulated differently to do those jobs effectively.  If you cleaned and conditioned, and aren't putting a protective layer on it, that’s like washing your car but never waxing it. Clean, but unprotected.

Warning: If using the leather cleaner and conditioner on real leather make sure that the leather surface is treated and isn't like a suede or nubuck untreated surface.  The leather products sold at Lilly Dukes are for treated leather surfaces only. Most leather surfaces are treated and can handle cleaners, conditioners and protectants but if you are unsure about yours ask the manufacturer or retailer of the product first.
